0h51 Group of 5 wandering around Empire with pitbull’s. 01h05 Group moves past SPAR toward the harbour. This group is thought to be out looking for stray dogs on which to set their pitbulls.

03h56 Watchcon. Suspect, Bravo male, red shirt and black pants, on premises at Tierboskloof. DB responding with ADT back-up. 04h02 SAPS respond, ZH31 not on the air. Nothing further.

04h49 Suspicious vehicle, 4 occupants, outside Victoria Spar. ADT request SAPS to investigate. ZH31 not on the air. CSC dispatch a vehicle. Nothing further.

04h51 ADT. ## Skaife St. Intruders on premises. No description. Nothing further.

Thursday Evening. Longkloof residents suspect criminals moving around on various premises and the bordering bushes. Not verified.

Wednesday Incidents

04h51 Watchcon. Intruders on premises at # Stonehill, Tierboskloof. ADT, DB and HBNW respond. A shot was fired (missed) at the unarmed guard. Only one criminal seen.

The smart money says these may be the same suspects that have been raiding into Bokkemanskloof recently. They use the mountain to enter and exit. In the case of Tierboskloof they normally go high up, traverse across and drop straight down.

06h02 Watchcon. CA467671 White Mazda, three Bravo male occupants, responsible for an armed robbery in Plumstead. Please keep a look out.

Monday Incidents Updated

02h05 ADT, Break-in at ## Candlewood, Bokkemanskloof. HBNW, SSp’s and SAPS respond. Brick used to break a window and laptop liberated. Actual break-in happened at about 02h00.

02h59 ADT. Break in attempt at # Olinia, Bokkemanskloof. Brick used to break a window, residents come face to face with suspects, nothing taken. Suspects are two Bravo males one in dark clothes and the other with a blue shirt. SSp’s and HBNW already out and respond. Meadows HBNW alerted. 03h30 MeadowsB reports two Bravo males descending onto the pipetrack above Hughenden. SAPS respond. Suspects disappear just above the reservoir either going to ground or heading back into the mountain. One suspect dressed in black and the other in lighter clothes. 04h30 HBNW members stand down. SAPS hide in the area. 04h40 SAPS report they may have the suspects cornered. 04h48 additional SAPS back up arrives. 05h09 I'm taking torches up the mountain to SAPS. 06h00 After a good look it seems the suspects have crawled out of the area despite SAPS spotting them twice. The terrain up there is difficult and strewn with excrement. The laptop may well be stashed in the area for retrieval later. We stood down at 06h00

21h54 Watchcon ## Albert Rd. Bravo male, short and wearing a blue shirt, found in the kitchen, jumped out of a window and crossed into neighbouring properties. SSP’s and HBNW respond.

18h48 SAPS ## Worcester St. Break-in in progress. Two suspects, one wearing blue jeans and white takkies. 18h58 BM reports a Bravo male in blue jeans and white takkies exiting Empire and heading toward IY along Victoria Ave. Suspect is running at times. Suspect runs past a ZH vehicle that appears to have missed the radio report. Suspect last seen running into IY.

05h32 Two penguins reported to be strolling in Victorskloof Rd looking into properties. World of Birds alerted! 05h47 Victor Jeremy reports the two suits being apprehended and locked up in their enclosure.

10h48 BL Fraudsters active at the FNB ATM. Suspects, four Bravo males travelling in a silver BMW with a GP registration.

12h23 Mariners Wharf security. Two ladies robbed on the beach, one assaulted by two Bravo males, one in Khaki shirt and one with a black shirt and blue jeans. Last seen heading toward the old SAPS station, aged between 18 and 21 years. HBNW and SSP’s respond. Camera and cellphone stolen.

0h27 SAPS # Lentedal, intruders on premises trying to gain access through the front door. possibly those from the above incident. Intruders not found.

During today "Tuesday" a snatcher was chased from Mainstream by Mainstream secrity, HBNW and SAPS. Not found.

# Suther Close, Mount Rhodes, ADT2 disturbed house breakers when responding to an alarm at # Suther. Suspects got away.

Forewarned is Forearmed.
This incident occurred in Fair Way (Dreyersdal area - park of BKM).
A lady was returning home alone at about 11pm on Sunday night, and as she started to turn into the driveway she was attacked by unknown thieves. They shot her in the head through the driver's window. It appears that the thieves then ran down road with lady's handbag and escaped in a vehicle.
Neighbours heard shots and alerted SAPS and ADT. Both responded very quickly. Detectives, dog unit and forensics were all on scene last night.
She was hospitalised last night but tragically she passed away at midday today (Monday). Our thoughts, prayers and condolences are with the family.

Monday Incidents

07h20 Penzance, van Hoogstraten. Skollie wandering in van Hoogstraten, robs two schoolgirls of a schoolbag and cell. Escaped into IY by jumping over the vibracrete wall from the YMCA close to Sijonga Phambile. Suspect Bravo male around 1.6 meters tall wearing dark trousers and a black top with red and white bands on the chest. SAPS attend.

01h12 Saldanaha Hof, Harbour Heights. Break-in. DB and SAPS respond. Suspects hiding inside. Seems it’s a container shop. Owner not contactable and no one contracted for security. ADT need to withdraw and abandon the shop. SAPS asked to take over.

04h45 Fire dispatched to a shack fire in Heights. SAPS asked to back-up Fire as residents very aggressive. DB respond. This is the second incident in one week where direct radio communications with fire services would have been beneficial.

05h49 Penzance Peace Patrol report a suspicious black Bantam Bakkie cruising every street in Penzance.

09h31 ADT. Armed robbery at ## Princess, suspects threatened to kill the victim. Suspects are two Bravo males carrying a bag thought to be armed. May have jumped into a Taxi on Victoria in the Super Spar area. HBNW, SSP’s and SAPS respond. 09h47 No description available. 11h01 Seems the suspects escape route is unknown.

19h15 DB guard in Baviaanskloof, Coral Close approaches a Charlie male who took off and ran toward Tierboskloof. SSP’, HBNW and SAPS respond. Suspect seen heading to Mainstream carrying a maroon bag. Description, short wearing a dark top and ¾ pants carrying a torch. 19h40 Suspect heading toward the harbour from Checkers. 19h43 Mariners security spot him and identify him as a skelm known as Tin / Teen / Tint? 19h44 Suspect running near NSRI. 19h45 Suspect heads out of the harbour main gate and up the mountain.20h03 Suspect running in bush above “Dirty Dicks” 20h27 SAPS detain a suspect in the Heights. Responders stand down.

02h46 Pondicherry. ADT intercept two bravo males in possession of dangerous weapons. SAPS unable to assist as they are attending an MVA above Llandudno. 03h09 ADT hand over the weapon carrying youngsters to SAPS.

07h09 ADT6 Charlie male running in Royal having stolen a laptop from ## Royal. Wearing a grey / green? top and thought to be hiding in the Victoria Place complex. SSP’s respond. Not found.

0h46 SAPS Looking for a suspicious male walking out of the Kroonenzicht area having broken into a house in Laurentia Way. 0h48 Suspects are two Charlie males 1.6m, Balaclava’s, dark clothing and a knife. One aged around 30 and bearded.

01h02 ## Relayed for ADT4 Llandudno, ## Leeukoppie intruder on premises, no description. 01h34 Feedback, Two Bravo males tripped outside beams, resident investigated and suspects ran away.

03h22 SAPS Attempted break-in at ## Luisa Way. Suspect wearing blue jeans and white takkies.

08h13 Workers discover an injured male close to the sea in Koeel Bay (Chapmans Peak Drive). It seems the victim was attacked, robbed and pushed over the edge 14 hours earlier. Extraordinary response form HBNW, SAPS, SSP’s, NSRI. Patient airlifted to the road above and transported to hospital, concious and stable. HBNW stood down from 10h30 while others remained to search the area for incidentals. SAPS investigating.

15h23 Charlie male described as a ‘skollie’ late twenties, black tracksuit pants and dark blue top with shaven head armed with a knife robs a teenager in Milner Rd. SSP’s and HBNW respond.

16h23 Watchcon. White Uno or Corsa sedan CA 30487 (false). Stole a wallet and cell phone from customer at Oakhurst Spar. HBNW and SSP’s respond. Despite an extensive search the vehicle seems to have exited the valley via Constantia Nek.

21h00 # Royal. Vandals break the rear window of a car. Seems to be related to similar incidents a few weeks ago.

23h01 # Farriers Way, Tarragona. Intruders on premises. SSP’s respond. May have been a false alarm.

10h18 ## Albert Rd, Intruder chased off premises by the resident. Young Bravo male, 5’10” slight build wearing a SA flag shirt and a lilac? beanie. HBNW and DB respond. No response from any ADT vehicles. 10h54 Patient work by RD pings the patriot in the SA Flag shirt shopping at KFC. Suspect in possession of numerous cell phones etc. Some of the cell owners were unaware that they had been burgled. SAPS detain patriot. Suspect named as SAM XXXXXXXX linked to other burglaries

Update. It seems “Patriot Sam” had appeared in court on Friday morning on housebreaking charges and was burgling houses again on Saturday morning!
