15h16 Camper at the YMCA assaulted by a bear chested Charlie male wearing ¾ khaki shorts. The Charlie male has a distinctive tattoo of a heart on the left chest.

15h11 Skelms in a white GP registered Toyota Venture hawking fake perfumes and badgering customers at the Oakhurst Spar.

15h39 Beach Club, handbag snatched by a bravo male wearing a blue shirt, ¾ pants companion wearing a pinkish top and ¾ pants. SSP’s and HBNW respond. Two thieves reported as boarding a cream cockroach and heading for IY. BC reports suspects in cream Cressida heading toward IY circle from Victoria. SAPS asked to step out of the CSC and stop the vehicle. 15h46 SAPS in position at IY circle and suspect vehicle stopped, both thieves leg it toward IY, both apprehended

0h50 Criminals on property in Longkloof off Main Rd. Resident interacting with one criminal. Criminals reported as heading toward Valley Rd, one with a headache. SSP’s respond. Nothing further.

19h22 ADT report ## Sluysken, break-in. Suspects may be 3 Charlie males in a white commercial vehicle (insulated body?) without any markings.

20h14 CA278038 White van behaving suspiciously at the top of Blue Valley Ave. ADT investigate.

20h30 Two ladies robbed of handbags (Passports etc) by two very young Bravo males wielding knives. Muggers fled the beach up the path past the ‘Bird Hide’ and onto Princess. HBNW and SSP’s assisted by Mariners Wharf security respond. Despite an extensive search nothing found. There have been a number of incidents where the perpetrators were young Bravo males.

21h04 Break-in at ## Orange St. Scott Est. Suspects are two Whiskey males, one wearing a bandana driving a white Isuzu bakkie with a KZN registration plate. Vehicle headed for Main Rd. direction unknown.

22h14 CA788172 White Conquest driving recklessly in Penzance. Turns out to be a local teenager.

17h29 Female tourists robbed close to “Beach Club” 3 Bravo males (armed with knives/knife?) ran off toward Princess. One in a dark shirt, one in a beige / green striped top all aged around 19. HBNW and SSP’s respond. 18h14 most stand down, nothing found.

19h43 ## Scaife St. Washing stolen from the line by a young Bravo male wearing a white cap, white jacket and blue jeans.

13h01 Group of thieves detained close to the law enforcement offices having stolen aluminium ladders somewhere. SAPS attend.

14h51 Break-in at James House old premises. Theives seen running to IY. HBNW and SSP's respond. Seems the thieves made it back to IY. SAPS asked to attend.

15h32 Tourists robbed at an ATM at Village Gate by 4 Bravo males driving a White Corolla CF99332. The vehicle then stopped in at the Oakhurst Spar but left when security spotted them reported as heading to Constantia. Conwatch notified.

16h35 ### Empire, residents reports an earlier break-in while they were out.

03h24 Four young Bravo males exiting Chestnut heading for IY. Intentions unknown SAPS asked to interview them. 03h31 SAPS report that the group are “a negative” (no cause for alarm)

23h06 DB guard at Sea Freeze reports thugs close to Lookout Deck robbing fishermen in the area.

16h29 Mariners Security report a Charlie male running with a laptop looking like he stole it! HBNW and SSP’s respond. ADT report suspect ducked into bushes and emerged further on empty handed. 16h46 Suspect detained and Toshiba L30 laptop recovered. Owner of the laptop unknown. Please contact HB SAPS on 021 7918660 if you can identify the laptop.

17h11 Northshore Linda reports that her wheelie bin escaped. 17h29 Delinquent bin cornered in Henschell and returned to a place of safety in Albert Rd. It seems the bin took advantage of favourable prevailing winds to make a break for freedom and headed toward Sandy Bay!

11h51 Suspected handbag nabbers working restaurants in the Valley. Two Bravo females and one Bravo male driving a red Polo CA550956

16h58 ## Edward St. Bravo? male attempts to attack a woman resident. Suspect reported to have abandoned a bicycle and run off toward Podicherry wearing a red (later reported as blue) shirt and gumboots. HBNW and SSP's respond.

SSP's and HBNW respond. 17h10 Suspect Charlie male reported to be wearing a dark blue shirt. 17h19 Suspect wearing a dark blue top spotted on Harbour Rd. and heads into the bush when he realised he was being watched. 17h43 Suspect at Block CC. SAPS asked to attend.

19h21 JP HBNW member disarms an armed (knife) suspect running from Spar? security guards. 19h27 SAPS uplift suspect.

16h43 Intruder attacks a resident ## Sluysken Rd. and runs off. HBNW, SSP’s and SAPS respond. Attacker described as a young Charlie male with a moustache, blue jacket with a red stripe across the back. Despite an extensive search the attacker got away.

19h46 ADT3 reports a thief detained in Darling St. while breaking-in to a car. SAPS asked to attend.

23h05 Camps Bay watch report a Blue VW Polo stolen by three Bravo males after assaulting the owners in their home. 23h15 an alert ADT patrol in Woodstock spot the vehicle and suspect/s? detained.

0h01 SAPS inform that two groups of known house-breakers are on the move earlier and exiting IY.

0h07 Suspect on premises at ## Bokkemanskloof Rd. SSP’s, SAPS and HBNW respond. 0h12 SAPS report suspect running toward Main Rd. 0h12 SAPS report a TV set and Play Station nabbed. Later recovered in bush. 0h30 Suspects thought to have moved toward the pipetrack. 0h48 most stand down. o1h34 Sensors tripped in the ravine area indicating persons heading toward? the pipetrack. Bokke guard investigates nothing found.

21h48 Two trespasser disturbed by ADT at ‘Suikerbossie’ and jump fences toward Ruyteplaats. DBlue and Voctorskloof NW on standby.

22h52 CA189095 Old white Nissan with canopy driving recklessly down Valley then cruising through Northshore.

11h30 Break-in at # van Oudtshoorn, Penzance. Thief seen running away by DB foot patrol. 12h10 SAPS recover stolen goods and reward the thief with free accommodation.

Wednesday Incidents

11h37 Intruder on premises in Longkloof Rd. Intruder reported a being armed (shots fired) although later reports indicate no weapon was used. All a bit confusing but a good response by HBNW and SSP’s. No one found. Most stand down at 12h14.

12h40 ## St. Tropez, Gilquin Crescent, Northshore. Attempted break-in while the resident was at home. Thieves ran off empty handed. SSP’s respond.

14h07 Earlier break-in at # Gordon Rd. Thieves entered through a window and took off with jewelry.

15h01 Lady tourist mugged (assaulted) on the beach close to the Law Enforcement Office. Suspects are two slender, young Charlie males one wearing beige linen pants. Silver / pink handbag with travel documents, cell etc taken.

15h47 Mugging in Earl St. wallet stolen. Mugger described as a Bravo male, green top and PicknPay bag in hand. Extensive search by HBNW and SSP’s nothing found.

20h02 Break-in (earlier?) at # Sandy Place, Harbour Heights.

20h35 Attempted break-in at ### Empire, suspects found hiding in the garden and run for the reeds. One wearing black shorts/ white shirt one yellow shirt / red shorts. 20h53 DB SSP detain one suspect positively identified.
