Friday night saw many patrols booking on and off as part of the high visibility exercise. It seems there was no criminal activity reported!
White Golf CY845277 driven by two Charlie males sought by police in the Constantia area after shots were fired at police responding to and armed robbery.

0h04 TOOV at ## Park Ave. Suspect is a Whiskey male approximately 18 yrs old. HBNW, ADT and DB respond. Resident distressed SAPS very late to arriving on scene at 01h00. Nothing further.

15h11 Mariners Security. Two ladies mugged on the beach near the path to the “Law Enforcement Office” Perps are two young Bravo males carrying a stolen blue backpack. One wearing a pinkish striped shirt, dark pants and black canvass shoes. One with a white shirt and green pants and black shoes. It seems they escaped via the access path to the Law Enforcement gravel patch. Very good response from SSP’s and HBNW. Not found. Shortly after the above incident Mariners Wharf security reports a bag snatching incident.
18h04 ADT6 Charlie male, on a property in Northshore, ## Sluysken attempting to steal an outboard motor. Perp ran off and not found.
21h48 Residents report gunshots close to and behind the graveyard. ADT and SAPS respond, nothing further.
22h48 Watchcon. # Karakal intruder on premises. Suspects are two Bravo males wearing dark clothing. ADT responds. Nothing further.

0h12 Suspicious white Jetta driven by a Bravo male in Boskykkloof. ADT response vehicle not monitoring HBNW radio net. Various alarms activated. 0h24 SAPS asked to attend. SAPS have only one vehicle in the valley and are unable to respond. 0h27 Bravo male detained on property ADT assist. Second Bravo male exits vehicle and identified as having been seen on another property. 0h36 SAPS on scene. Nothing further

For what its worth then a little more feedback for you re Friday mornings incident at the top of Boskykloof.
I heard the call just as I was going to bed and since it sounded to be rather urgent went across to assist "LK Nick" by way of backup. The car was in fact a white Ford Sierra reg CY 617060 and occupied by two Charlie males (not Bravo) who were from Delft. Their story was that they were looking for 'Military Hospital' !! SAPS arrived with me and ADT (3 off) were already on the scene. When leaving the scene, I checked at the lower traffic boom and the guard had no record of the Sierra coming in.
After all that I am not sure what the outcome was as I eventually left it in the hands of Saps etc. But their story was certainly not standing up at all well and feel that they were waiting up there for everything to go to sleep. Their vehicle was well searched but revealed nothing.

16h05 Commotion premises in # Brunia Way Kronenzicht. 16h09 ADT7 Suspect stealing copper pipes in Brunia. Suspect jumps the gate heading toward Helgarda. HBNW SAPS and DB respond. Suspect wearing brown pants and removed his shirt. ADT7 spots suspect running in Victoria toward Royland. Suspect “Tim?” is known to SSP’s. Not caught despite an excellent response.

19h00 Intruder on property in Campell St Scott Est. SSp's HBNW and SAPS respond. Suspect almost caught. A dog in Baviaanskloof may have been stabbed earlier by the same suspect however the circumstances are not clear.
Update.........the dog incident is unrelated. she is recovering well after running into a hacked half shin-height acacia. beware the "cleared" baviaans river embankment (above baviaanskloof road).

Intruders disconnected the telephone. 06h30 HBNW stands down, nothing found. The regular escape route seems to be via a certain property where the resident couldn’t care less.
12h17 # Blackwood. Bravo male very dark complexion, light shirt and blue jeans tries to gain entry by forcing a door. ADT respond, not found. In an earlier incident in the same road a Bravo male fitting the above description but wearing a very faded t-shirt posed as a gardener while digging on a property. Owners were phoned and reported that there should be no gardeners on the property.

in Wood Rd. and proceed up Wood Rd toward the mountain. DB and SAPS respond. Not found.
