Three churches that are sheltering “refugees” have asked that HBNW patrollers include them in their patrol routes. Valley Church is above Checkers, International is in Milner off Daphne (at the school) and “Mon Ami” is in ValleyRd.
Blankets are needed by all along with disposable nappies, baby food and formula.
Church members are pushing beat as well but do need assistance with patrols. If you can help call CraigDisa on 0839442519 for a patrol / work slot. Even a half hour will help.

Please note, the abandoned red BMW on Valley road mentioned in the comment section of May 11th is still there. It is strange that it hasn't been towed away as it certainly looks very suspicious.
ReplyDeleteI've also been keeping an eye on it - it is not there permanently so its probably OK. I'll make a couple of enquiries in the area, it must be a resident or worker. Maybe we can just ask the owner to park it properly?
