01h51 1# Park Avenue, resident suspects intruders on property, ADT respond. Nothing further.
16h51 Watchcon reports a young girl (6yrs?) being assaulted by a bald Bravo male wearing a black hooded jacket on the Disa horse trail close to the riding centre river crossing. SSP’s and HBNW respond. Circumstances not clear but it seems a couple that witnessed the incident ran off when threatened by the assailant reporting the incident at the Riding Centre. A brief search of the surrounds revealed nothing.17h35 SAPS requested to mobilize the dog unit. 19h00 it appears the dog unit were not mobilized. CERT mobilize for a search at 19h45. Nothing found during the search. Note that by Sunday morning 10h00 no children have been reported missing or otherwise.
20h36 Armed robbery at the Victoria Rd Spar. SSP’s and SAPS respond. One vehicle hijacked as a getaway vehicle and later recovered in IY. Note that the robbers also fled to IY when the Oakhurst Spar was robbed a few months ago. Indications are that and armed “organized gang” is operating out of IY.

Regarding the alleged child assault on the river bed - I have questioned the teenagers concerned many times now and they still insist that they saw the man and the child - I called watchcon to report this & thank them for their prompt assistance and I apologise for time semmingly wasted.

ReplyDeleteJust a 'week ago' (?) a child WAS abducted, possibly raped and stabbed in the neck (?), on the pipe track, near the riding centre. Suspect not found.
