0h05 Gunshots? reported in Valley Road close to Kronendal Retirement Village, person seen running in open space alongside KRV. SSP's and SAPS respond. Lots of running about but it boils down to........Attempted TOV in Royland Crescent, oh54 two suspects detained in a white City Golf CA837903 and a further three in a grey bakkie.

03h19 Trespassers spotted on property at # Forest Hill, Longkloof.

04h32 White Nissan Sani CA? behaving suspiciously in Beach Estate. The following report from Northshore Patrol: “We sighted what appeared to be a suspicious vehicle at around 04h00 this morning in Northshore Sector. The vehicle, driven by a coloured man( could not tell age but appeared to be mid twenties with a moustache) wearing a “hoodie” was a white Nissan Sani with uprated suspension and non- standard mag wheels( vehicle although old was in reasonable condition). We could not get the registration number but it had a CA reg. number. This vehicle travelled up Albert Road and kept shooting off up side streets, all of which were dead- ends such as Clyde Road. When this individual realised that we were following him, he appeared to be spooked.

Before our interception, we drove down Albert road toward the beach. After we lost him, we passed a house in Albert road who’s alarm had activated. We suspect that this was a driver with accomplices that he had dropped off and he subsequently collected after we lost him.”

19h50 TOOV corner Empire / Liverpool area.

23h38 Copper thieves active in Northshore. Supply pipe in Gilquin Crescent stolen.

On Tuesday evening, 8pm while out on patrol "Bokke Guard" had a fall in a dark rocky area of the pipetrack above Bokkemanskloof. (Torn ligaments). Bokke Guards partner patroller called for assistance on air and within a short time Surf Rescue 1 ( Mark Muller) and EMS1 (Paul Giot) along with Bokke residents were on scene. Using Surf Rescue 1's unique vehcile and equipment BG was stabilized and transported out of a very inaccessible area and later transferred to an ambulance for transport to hospital.

Comment from resident BN; Bokke Guard injured on the Pipe Track last night. EMS & SURF RESCUE stabilised, consoled & uplifted Bokke Guard. You guys & gals are amazing. Let's not forget to support these volunteers who go out in the cold, wet & dark, financially in the form of donations

05h09 CF100173, white Golf behaving suspiciously in Baviaanskloof. Driver claims they are working in the area.

10h46 TOV (Stolen) Llandudno beach area. Black Polo with mags, reg XPS787GP. Speculation that 3 Charlie males in a white Toyota Condor CA367962 may be involved. Iy was noted thet the 3 in the registration plate had been altered to read as 8.

12h47 Break-in at 1# Baviaanskloof Rd. SSP's respond, intruder runs away. Monitor stolen.

23h30 # Riverside Terrace attempted break-in.

0h20 3 Suspects try to jump the fence onto Kronendal Retirement Village and take off onto the Disa horse trail when detected. 0h28 Two of the suspects seen running back into IY.

01h20 ## Andrews Rd. Perimeter fence cut and beams tripped and 2 thieves run off toward the high ground above Scott. Scott NW respond.

10h46 World of Birds, Stolen..... White Toyota Sprinter, red line on the side and silver mags. Reg unknown.

11h49 White Toyota bakkie CA43729 seen stealing feed at Custom Feeds in the past. Theft usually occurs on week-ends at night.

Friday night in Scott Estate

A white Nissan Exa with pop-up headlights, registration number CA583600, was stolen from a driveway in Orange Street, Scott Estate. The car was very recently re-sprayed brilliant white. There were two sets of number plates in the boot. One was a set of Zimbabwe number plates, number unknown, and the second was a set of Gauteng number plates, KFS654GP. It is therefore possible that the perpetrator will use these number plates.On 31 October this same vehicle was broken into while parked in the same position. The perpetrator could not start the car and left a set of keys in the car as well as an electricity receipt, both of which were handed over to SAPS

A resident living in Riverview reports hearing bird calls on Friday night “to the extent that I felt uncomfortable and closed all my windows....you can distinctly hear the call and the answer and now I see that a vehicle was stolen in the road behind us” Please treat late night bird calls and whistling as suspicious and ask Watchcon 021-7909333 to arrange a “drive by”

09h43 Watchcon. ## Scottsville circle. Two males, one wearing a grey t-shirt and or one in long white trousers, attempted to break-in. Resident chasing the suspects in the area. ADT, DB, SAPS and HBNW respond 09h49 Suspects spotted running to the top of Skaife. 09h52 SAPS, both of the de Koker brothers detained in Campbell for questioning.

16h02 Watchcon. Male robbed and stabbed in the chest by two Bravo males while walking on the beach. SAPS, ADT, DB and HBNW respond. Suspects wearing dark tops. It’s a long story. Difficult search as the area that the suspects headed into is very dense and overgrown. Discarded goods and knives found in the dunes. Discarded clothing also found. Suspects may have exited the area onto Princess at the Beach Club gates before a cordon was thrown around the area. Victim attended to promptly and was stable and conscious when an ambulance arrived. Most responders stood down around 17h45.

23h00 From a resident. One Charlie male seen at 11.00 ish hotfooting down Sluysken, lugging 2x 25 liter drums of paint. After lengthy search drums found hidden in bushes for later collection. Rightful owner located and goods returned. No doubt Charlie returned to bitter disappointment that maybe someone stole his stash !

23h14 Blue minibus taxi CA468004 “all over the road” appears to be drunk. Headed into IY.

Early Tuesday Morning

The following from a Hughenden resident.

Last night Tuesday 15th between oh00 and 0h45 our white vw combi was stolen in Hughenden road. It was towed away by a Ford looking bakkie with a white white front and contrasting loadbed (dark loadbed. Unfortunately the surveillance nightshot shows anything from black to red as black). The thieves arrived at 12pm and parked up the road and waited for about 30 min. during which ADT drove up Hughenden Rd and so must have seen the suspicious vehicle ? our dogs barked and we did check the property and saw nothing as they were parked up the road at the bend next to no. 13
They then proceeded to break into the vehicle , breaking the steering lock. They couldn’t get the car started and so towed it away. From our camera footage it looks like 3 charlie or bravo males.
This was organised as they were ready to tow the car if they couldn’t get it started. From the time of breaking in to the towing away was quick +- 5 min.
The vehicle that they were driving was very noticeable , looks like a chop shop story – white front and darker loadbed. See photo. No longer fitted with the bullbar.
ADT must have a better description of these guys and hopefully more info , they were definitely suspicious looking.
