08h19 Break-in at 1# Riverside Terrace. Two Bravo youths take off upstream in the river toward Bethal Rd. Good response by SSp’s and HBNW. Thieves wearing a white baseball cap and on in a red/white t-shirt escape via open ground on Bethal.

16h58 Attempted break-in on Avignon Est. Valley Rd. Suspect apprehended, SAPS asked to attend.

14h00 Bokke guard reports 3 Charlie males in a white Toyota Cressida behaving suspiciously. Parked in Elm Tree.

On the 3rd of April a worker was held up with a fire arm and robbed on the corner of Peterhof and Whittlers, Hughenden by three Charlie males in a white Toyota. There may be a connection.

10h46 TOV (Stolen) Llandudno beach area. Black Polo with mags, reg XPS787GP. Speculation that 3 Charlie males in a white Toyota Condor CA367962 may be involved. Iy was noted thet the 3 in the registration plate had been altered to read as 8.

14h29 10 year old Bravo female abducted by a Bravo male on the Disa horse trail close to the Riding Centre. 14h36 BD, Young girl found injured close to Worcester and Victor. SAPS called. Aductor reported as 20’s Bravo male wearing an orange shirt, white shoes and dark longs also dark glasses with white rims.

22h00 From a resident in Sluysken Rd: On Sunday evening at around 10pm, my dogs were going crazy, my housesitter never called watchon. In the morning it was evident that somebody had tried to gain enrty by stripping the panels on my garage door...please all be advised. NorthshoreSkippy

13h04 HBS reports a robbery at 3# Penzance. Back fence cut, and 5 balaclava wearing Bravo males force the domestic worker to open up. TV, laptop and other valuables stolen. SAPS asked to attend.

04h00 2# Villa de Legno Attempted break-in. Thief unseen. Villa de Legno has had a number of attempts in the last few weeks indicated by reports of numerous garden beam activations.

Sunday Sinners

Yellow Nissan bakkie, CA339483 prowling the Valley again. On previous visits the driver tried to sell building props to a resident. Suspicious behavior also reported in the past when the vehicle dropped people off in various locations at 03h00, motive unknown.

10h55 White Toyota Bakkie CA898787 reported trespassing in the Beach estate area. Resident where trespass occurred confirms they had no business on the property.

18h28 KA reports a Blue Hyundai Accent CA632623 on the run from Kronenzicht toward the harbour after a TOOV. One of two occupants is a Bravo male wearing a white shirt. 18h54 Hundai observed outside Diamond Liquors. SAPS attend and detain? the driver. See the 02h34 entry above thought to be the same vehicle.

Monday Incidents

From a resident: Approx 10:30 am today (24 Mar), three Charlie males in white Nissan bakkie offering to haul stuff away at our fenceless property, 11 Fountain. Sight and sound of dogs made them hesitate slightly.Bakkie is single cab, 1-tonner, no canopy, with paint work done. Plates read CY 118 397 but front plate is partially obscured.

03h36 # Seagull Close, Heights, break-in in progress, SSP’s respond. Suspect wearing red/maroon beanie runs off as SSP’s arrive.

10h16 Attempted break-in close to Longkloof on Main Rd. Two young Bravo males take off into the river area when detected. Good response by SSP’s and HBNW. Nothing found.

Sunday Sinners

11h01 Disa River path close to Blue Valley Close. Rider of a Quad Bike, deliberately reverses his Quad up to the absent residents vehicles and sprays the vehicles with stones by accelerating away wheelspinning. Young Whiskey male, wearing spectacles and riding a Quad with red in the colour scheme caught on CCTV. A number of passing horse riders will have encountered him as they rode on the river path. Motive for vandalism unknown. After the event the Quad crossed the Disa on Disa River Rd and proceeded down Valley Rd. The same quad may have been seen an hour later in the Hughenden area.

17h55 HBS6 Reports young Charlie males running into the bush with a "safe" MR and HBS response officer collar the vandals found with a public phone cash box and hand them to SAPS.

21h00 YMCA Penzance, dodgy character detained by HBS (Hout Bay Security) dog handler for questioning. YMCA caretaker declines to lay trespassing charges. Dodgy released.

07h54 4# van Oudtshoorn Penzance, TOOV. (two vehicles)

13h38 Attempt to cut through the Ruyteplaats fence via the vacant property at the end of Saddlers Close. Two Bravo males observed using bolt cutters. SSP’s and HBNW respond. No one found direction of escape? unknown.

14h53 Bravo male in a yellow shirt found on a property at ?? Victorskloof. Suspect found walking in Almond Close by VJ and ADT. Outcome unknown.

18h30 1# Mountain TOOV Laptop stolen, thief leaves in a light blue Cressida Cockroach headed to IY.

Wednesday and Thursday Incidents

CA766226 (Was CA7266226) may be a white Polo or Kadett. The vehicle cruises the Overkloof area at times with 4 Bravo males inside. This may be an innocent case of persons being collected from or dropped at work athough their actions harassing a certain domestic worker suggests otherwise. Last seen on Tuesday morning.
From BN: White POLO with reg CA766226 seen by my wife in Chestnut at 16h10 Thursday (Yesterday). 1 Bravo male occupant.
Ed: Friday 21st. The owner and occupants were interviewed by SAPS at an address in Penzance where they were employed as painters. Names recorded by SAPS. The vehicle is unregistered, pending transfer of ownership (never never terms?) This vehicle has raised suspicion in Camps Bay in the past. Thanks to KroonenzichtAnt for tracking them down

0h45 2# Riverside Terrace. Two intruders detected on property, one wearing black pants and a blue top the other in blue overalls. Last seen heading toward Victoeskloof.

01h32 SAPS. Second suspect arrested in connection with TOOV Albert Rd. Time of incident unknown.

13h30 Break-in between 12h00 and 15h30 at 1# Willow Way. Two flat screens (very heavy) and other items taken. Flat Screens probably removed by vehicle.

14h00 Break-in and theft of flat screen TV around the corner from the 13h30 break-in. Resident declines to lay charges saying it won't help.

16h20 3# Royland, break-in flat screen stolen.
