02h59 # Gordon Rd. Two Bravo males attack and rob a lady returning home. No serious injuries. Seems the criminals may have been on the premises.
Early morning incident in Scott: Last night in the early hours this morning, D M reported on channel two that his fence wire had been cut and it apparently was a definite attempt to get in. His dogs awakened him during the high wind and the perps ran off. His house is up on the top of Andrews / Marais Road .
SAPS pick up two known house-breakers in the area but no evidence to link them to the Gordon Rd incident.
03h31 From Camps Bay Watch. Armed robbery in Bakoven around midnight. Two suspects, one reported wearing a red/orange cap and black shirt the other green shirt and blue cap. Thought to be heading toward Hout Bay on foot?
06h16 From SAPS. Taxi violence. Stones being thrown at motorists close to IY.
09h00 Various incidents during the day around Taxi violence. At times, Main Rd. had to be closed and traffic diverted via Valley Rd. More significant than the mindless taxi owners was the abuse volunteer HBNW members had to endure at the mouths of Hout Bay residents. Even more disappointing was the abuse hurled at members by members of the Fire Service!
13h00 From a resident TOOV -window smashed - only parked for 15 min in front Storms Rest in Hughenden road Suspects possibly 3 very young Bravo males strolling down Hughenden road from IY.
19h23 Mugger robs a lady of a handbag in Hughenden close to the graveyard. Delta4 apprehends the thief close to IY and hands him to SAPS.
19h57 # Sandpiper Place, earlier break-in discovered when the resident returns home.
