    Location: TOKAI ROAD (No's 68 - 88) , Zone: C
    Incident Text:
A resident reports: "My daughter went to the ATM at the Kwikspar to draw cash. After she had put in her pin number a well dressed black male appeared suddenly and started pushing buttons and telling her what to do. The card came out of the machine and he had it in his hand. At this point another black male as well as a black female appeared on the scene and surrounded her. My daughter started screaming and demanding her card back, which had appeared to have been given to the woman. People then came running from the shops and confronted the group, demanding the card. Realising that the game was up, the original perp produced the card, (it had not been handed over to the woman as it appeared to my daughter - sleight of hand).

They then all jumped into a silver Corsa 3 door and took off at high speed. Unfortunately nobody was able to get the number of the Corsa. The incident has been reported to SAPS Kirstenhof.

There was a coloured bystander who said that the group had been hanging around the ATM all morning and that this was the third time that he had seen an attempt to rob someone. ( nobody seems to have taken his name or details).
