10h48 From Watchcon. FNB ATM, Silver Grey Polo DXW 738 EC, reported hovering, 3 Bravo males following users and offering to assist. This vehicle was in the area yesterday as well as last week end. SAPS ZH31 given detailed information and urgent respone requested, SSP’s and HBNW respond.
10h53 Polo heads off touring HB with driver only, looping back to FNB. Two companions on foot somewhere.
10h58 vehicle passing Shoprite Checkers heading toward FNB.
10h59 vehicle back at FNB. Backup requested from ZH1 no response.
10h59+ Suspect uplifts one other.
11h00 At FNB….. Suspect driver and one other leave FNB at high speed heading for Victoria via Princess. SAPS requested to get to Suikerbossie traffic light. Poor / nil back up from SAPS on radio net despite numerous calls for assistance. Suspect vehicle heads for Suikerbossie.
11h03 Suspect vehicle cresting Suikerbossie toward Camps Bay at high speed.
11h05 SAPS vehicle finally on air requesting information. Seems to be in the dark regarding developments. Camps Bay SAPS requested to intercept vehicle.
HBNW with assistance of M.R. police reservist, Deep Blue and ADT stopped vehicle on Victoria in the Llandudno area. SAPS from HB and Camps Bay arrived..
11h25 Suspects reported to be in custody.

11h00 Royal Rd, attempted house break-in.

11h33 HBNW report Cockroach taxi, Red Corolla CY 161452 driven by underage driver in Princess St. SAPS asked to attend. No response. Vehicle reported traveling into Hangberg to drop / uplift passengers.
11h42 Cockroach CY 161452 reported turning into Checkers with several passengers. Watchcon requests SAPS assistance on air. No response.
11h44 Cockroach reported to be driving past BP toward IY. SAPS requested on air to step out of office and stop the vehicle. No response! 11h25 Cockroach drives past SAPS front door, no response.
11h53 Cockroach leaves IY and drives past SAPS front door again. (20 min’s since first call for assistance)
11h54 Cockroach pulled over by ADT vehicle right outside SAPS.
12h01 HBNW, ADT still waiting for SAPS to arrive outside their doorstep.

On investigation by SAPS it was found that the driver was not licensed.
