14h27 Mariners Wharf security reports a mugging on the beach. A Bravo male, short hair, red t-shirt, ¾ length grey pants, barefoot and armed with a knife, robbed a lady tourist of a grey bag containing a camera, cell, keys and wallet. HBNW, SAPS and SSP’s respond.
13h44 Number # Milner, house break-in. Not sure about this one, does anyone have more information?

Note that a foreign tourist may not understand the distinction between black and coloured. Too often we take the incident report as fact and either cover the horse trail/main road or harbour area based on what may be a incorrect classification
ReplyDeleteGood point Jeremy. I think responders were looking for suspicious Bravo males recently when we should have been looking for suspicious Charlie males. Best keep an open mind when dealing with tourists.
